ICG Properties Secures New Leases at 2121 Wisconsin Avenue, NW
North Georgetown Building Now 95% Leased
WASHINGTON, DC-ICG Properties has announced the completion of several lease transactions at 2121 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, bringing the property to 95% occupancy. Since acquiring the property in April 2006, the firm has secured four new leases for the building, known as Georgetown Center I. The most recent lease transaction, signed yesterday, is with The Donohoe Companies of Washington, D.C. New leases have also recently been completed with District Design Development Group, LLC; Fiesta in a Box, LLC; and Georgetown Kumon Math and Reading Center. The six-story, 100,000-square-foot property is located adjacent to 2115 Wisconsin Avenue, also known as Georgetown Center II. Georgetown Center II was acquired by ICG in late 2002. Both buildings are located along Wisconsin Avenue between M Street and Massachusetts Avenue, near the U.S. Naval Observatory. Tenants in Georgetown Center I also include Georgetown University, ForrestPerkins, LLC, the CW Washington (formerly known as WB50), and SomaFit. ICG Properties currently owns more than 500,000 square feet of stabilized commercial assets. Properties in Washington, D.C. also include the World Center Building at 1600 K Street, NW, and Penn Branch Center. The firm also owns or controls another half-million square feet of developable commercial and residential density.
